Six months from now, we'll see if anything Barnes says can be trusted. His borderline pathology against Israel is approaching Mamdani levels of knee-jerk irrationality. He's begun to treat Hamas propaganda as gospel, which is evidence of a moral and spiritual corruption. It contaminated the value of anything he says. His predictions for the Midterms are wild are wildly skewed. I don't know whether he's saying what he thinks or what he wants to happen. I'm fearful that he might be right, but I sense a mania in his views that warns me off. We'll see in about 2 month. I think there will be a lot of mail in ballot fraud and little remedy from Robert's corrupt court.

One thing I know is that his analysis on Iran has dropped to the level of Iranian currency. Any objective viewer would see there never was any hope of an Iranian deal. In fact, you'd have to be pretty goddamned delusional by this point to think Iran would EVER honor any agreement. They made unreasonable demands on US/Israeli behavior while taking no action or even responsibility for their own or their proxies in Lebanon. Yet despite that Trump seemed desperate enough to agree to the MOU. An agreement that heavily favored Iran and what happened the very next day? Iran unilaterally declares itself the sole owner of Hormuz. An illegal and nonsensical claim found nowhere in either the MOU or ANY international agreement. Who bombed civilian tankers first? Who also bombed tankers during the funeral of their own Mullah? Exactly...but somehow Barnes ignored all that to lay it all on Israel. He's becoming pathetic and one note on Iran/Israel. It's the Duranization of thougt here. It's his biggest, most glaring blind spot that makes everything else suspect. We'll se if Barnes's wild and increasingly unhinged Tucker Carlson-style rants are justified in the end. I have to think anything that makes Victor Davis Hanson look prophetic....
