Bongino on Epstein

That title sounds gross lol

I will talk about this in greater detail during today’s show.

Goodwill, credibility and integrity are invaluable intangible assets that take years to develop. Not everyone is capable of developing them, because not everyone has character.

@dbongino has deservedly earned his goodwill, credibility, and integrity through years of life experience, incredible insight, and thoughtful analysis. One does not get to disregard all of that because you might disagree - even vehemently - with him on a specific issue.

We heard what he had to say about Epstein.

He says he believes Epstein killed himself.

I vehemently disagree with this statement, specifically because even if Epstein did “kill himself” literally - with the extra linens that were inexplicably provided to him, after the cell cameras malfunctioned, and the security guards slept - though he may have “killed himself” in the literal semantical sense, it is inaccurate in the material sense.

It was an inside job to tie up loose ends.

But Bongino says he believes Epstein killed himself.

He is either right or wrong.

If he is right, OK. If he is wrong it, so be it. People are entitled to be wrong from time to time. Absolutely nobody is perfect or infallible on every issue.

The bigger issue is whether or not he sincerely believes Epstein killed himself, or if he doesn’t believe it but is saying it for other as-of-yet unknown reasons,m.

There could be a number of reasons for this, some tactical, others sinister.

But with the goodwill he has developed over years, sacrificing it all to serve country, the fair thing would be to presume there is a good reason for which he might say this even if he doesn’t truly sincerely believe it.

And for that, we will need to wait.

If it were anyone from the Biden regime or MSM trying to convince me Epstein actually killed himself, I would laugh them out of the room.

I still don’t believe it, even coming from Dan. But he deserves the benefit of the doubt until definitive proof to the contrary.

My humble two cents that absolutely no one asked for.

The most amazing fossil I have ever seen

This is at a place called Astro West.

Every time we come to New York, I go and imagine things I would buy if I were a billionaire.

Look at this fossil!

Ugly diving championship

There’s a Tennessee river sporting event all weekend in Chattanooga.

Yesterday, we caught the “ugly diving” competition.

I actually missed the best of the ugly dives. Here is one by wave example.

Heading to the aquarium. Ethan playing around on the rock climbing wall. Watching some wakeboarding.

This place is beautiful.

Appearance on Richard Syrette

I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

B. Art of the Day: The necessary reading nook, like the kind I’d try to form for myself at bookstores like Shakespeare in Paris, or for one’s residence to shape a place to disappear within, chasing the thoughts of the author and oneself, transported to other worlds made comfortable by the hugging chair, warm blankets, and surrounded books.
