I. INTRODUCTION
Labour Day at the pier. We had our best day ever. Caught a huge bluerunner. A beautiful barracuda that we put back. And a beautiful needle fish.
We were going to do a catch and cook with the needlefish and on the way home were watching videos about how to cook needlefish. Apparently they are edible and do in fact taste good, except they are very bony. And occasionally they have parasites.
Fortunately, we saw a video about what parasites look like and unfortunately found parasites in the needlefish. So, we won’t be eating the needlefish. But the blue runner is looking good!
I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.
