A man who represents himself has a fool for a client

If anybody needed a reminder as to why you do not represent yourself, here it is.

The underlying case: On July 14, 2024, Treylyn Hill met a gun seller to buy a rifle. Instead of paying, he pointed a handgun at the seller and a passenger, took the rifle, and later fired multiple shots at them as they followed him.

He was sentenced to 40 years.

Appearance on Richard Syrette

I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

Apparently the white collar Fraud division at the DOJ is understaffed by 75% compared to what it was when Trump took office. Lawyers get access to basically their own legal news publications and is serves as yet another propaganda arm for the left, because the articles are cultivated and from professional entities.

https://www.bloomberglaw.com/product/blaw/bloomberglawnews/us-law-week/BNA%20000001a11c01d782a1a5fefb97330001?bna_news_filter=us-law-week

Attached snips of what the lawyer focused propaganda arm is saying.

Basically they're having to try and give bonuses to the DOJ lawyers to get them to stay, because it's a sinking ship and they are jumping. Then keep in mind--the DOJ gets sued over a hundred times a day. There's a huge regular case load of crud to just deal with. And some of the DOJ lawyers are just working on dealing with a daily tsunami that is part of regular American life. So if you don't have enough lawyers, you're not going to be able to file your own suits ...

AMEN Salty, Amen!!!

A. Art of the Day
  • Another artistic expression of my own self-impression, the contemplative thought of looking out into the world through the oversized window amidst the shadows of dark and light, in between them both, uncovering and discovering along the way, a singular, solo figure in the space empty of objects but full of opportunities, sparse in materials but rich in ideas, waiting to be realized.
