To: My Fellow Floridian Voters
Re: The Governor’s Race and candidate Paul Renner

As you know, tomorrow’s primary race is wide open, with eleven candidates. So this is a bit late but I only heard of Paul Renner this weekend when someone invited me to his town hall in my area. He supported medical freedom long before it was on the radar and is the only candidate who will keep Joseph Lapado, appointed by DeSantis, as Florida’s surgeon general, who opposed COVID lockdowns and mitigation efforts. He comes closest to DeSantis; he was Speaker of the FL House in 2022-24 and worked to pass legislation to keep Florida designated as a Free State. None of them are perfect, but Renner is running a Florida First campaign to keep it free.

Bryon Donalds has dominated the ad space; Collins is second. I’ve seen little advertising by Paul Renner. Donalds is getting a lot of out-of-state dark money from undisclosed sources

and hiding behind P.O. Boxes when you try to trace it. He gets money from BigTech bros and was convicted of felony bank fraud in the past, which was expunged from his record. Then he was assigned to the Financial Services Committee, an area that needs cleaning up. It’s no wonder he talks a good game on AI data centers but opposes safeguards against them. Plus, Trump endorsed him, which is not a good sign either. I believe Donalds is corrupt and/or ripe for corruption.

Correction to my word attachment: I found exactly where he answers the question on jury trials, private equity, and he also mentions sovereign immunity abuses. 30:33 on FB reel of Townhall.

Then there’s Collins, who has sponsored legislation to expand data centers. Paul Renner opposes massive AI data centers; has worked to preserve Florida farmland; opposes the surveillance state; supports medical, food and financial freedom; opposes abuses of private equity; and is pro-worker.

I’ve attached more about Renner in a PDF, including links to his FB, a FB reel of the town hall I attended, and a news article.

David Jolly is the Democrat running against the GOP, and he is pushing the trans agenda of surgeries and men in women's sports.

EDIT Note: Seen no polling on this guy; he has not heard of Richard Baris. If anyone has any polling info by Baris on him please post it.

CORRECTION: It is at 30:33 exactly; he answers my question on arbitration and private equity abuse, and he adds that he opposes sovereign immunity too.

Nearly caught a barracuda

We actually had a good day on the pier today. Some blue runner for fish tacos. And I nearly landed this beast! It actually cut through the thick wire leader I was using. Wasn’t too disappointed, losing the fish… Barracuda carry a nasty toxin, I learned after the fact.

Candace Owens v. Andrew Wilson debate

I put together a montage - without commentary - that I think sums up the debate through key highlights.

Appearance on Richard Syrette

I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

The simulation has a sense of humor

There is this racist conspiracy theory known as “the great replacement”. The theory goes something along the lines that there is a deliberate attempt to replace native westerners with new immigrants through open borders.

It’s totally racist.

And totally a conspiracy theory.

Meanwhile, in Brampton Ontario, this is the list of mayoral candidates.

Ironically enough, the only white guy is actually named “Brown”.

  • A jazz club, appropriate for impressionistic expression on with the heavy paint on the canvas, the notes themselves dancing above the musicians traveling out to the patrons, a great place to escape, in underground caverns in ancient cities to modern clubs in neighborhoods new to the city this decade, reminds me in another life to be a Jazz Club owner.

B. Wisdom of the Day
  • “The Democratic Party and the Republican Party were just like the old patent medicine drummer that used to come around our country.  He had two bottles of medicine. He’d play a banjo and he’d sell two bottles of medicine. One of those bottles of medicine was called High Popalorum and another one of those bottles of medicine was called Low Popahirum. Finally somebody around there said is there any difference in these bottles of medicines? ‘Oh,’ he said, ‘considerable. They’re both good but they’re different,’ he said. That High Popalorum is made from the bark off the tree that we take from the top down. And that Low Popahirum is made from the bark that we take from the root up.' And the only difference that I have found between the Democratic leadership and the Republican leadership was that one of ’em was skinning you from the ankle up and the other from the ear down — when I got to Congress.” Huey Long.
