When I tell you Manny is stupid…

I don’t know if he does it because he’s fundamentally uncoordinated, or because he’s just a total goof who likes to throw his body around.

He literally runs into windows as though he’s trying to push himself off.

He runs into screens, apparently not seeing them.

And he literally falls over his own face when running and trying to maneuver.

not only that I capture at this time. I captured it in slow motion!

Look at the shock in his face after he face plants!

I cannot tell you how much I love this dog!

Appearance on Richard Syrette

I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

Questions for Bourbon w/ Barnes, Thursday, September 17, 2026

Ask in replies and answering LIVE at 9ish eastern tonight...

On September 17, 1787 - 39 brave men signed this incredible document:

@amrevmuseum
Museum of the American Revolution

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union..."

On this day in 1787, the United States Constitution was signed at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Shortly after the signing, the Constitution was sent to the states for ratification.

While the U.S. Constitution is well-known, individual state constitutions, like the three copies in our collection pictured here currently on view at the Museum, continue to be the driving forces behind our national debates — past and present. It is often at the state level where significant changes are introduced that will later be incorporated into the United States Constitution. Indeed, the federal constitution drafted in Philadelphia in 1787 was itself based, in no small measure, on the state constitutions that preceded it..

Small family of wild turkey's crossing the back lawn. I wanted to open the storm door and get better shots, but they were already pretty skiddish.

I. THE INTRODUCTION

Special Notices

A. Art of the Day
  • My idea of a downstaris bar, the dancing globes, the circular bar, the mirrored backspace, the rectangular lanterns, the soft cloth seats, the steady backs, the gemoetric carpet, the quiet clock in the corner, inviting, beckoning, welcoming to a night of conversation over cocktails, a return to the roaring 20s, flapper girls in cocktail dresses and men in vests and top hats, a real-life bourbon with Barnes from yesteryear.

B. Wisdom of the Day

. THE INTRODUCTION

Special Notices

A. Art of the Day
  • A board recommended photo capturing old leather worn books, well used as books should be, inviting us into their learned uncovering of the world, be it the fantasies of fiction or the histories of narrative, the discoveries of science or the truths of the spirit, uncovering in the words on parchment ourselves and the world about us, using the faculties of reason and the blessings of language to discover in the archives of the world a better understanding of ourselves.

I. THE INTRODUCTION

Special Notices

A. Art of the Day
  • Art Deco grandiosity meets everyday utility in this artisitic display on a regular rug carpet, the brazen blue and gold geometric designs against the black background, the images displayed all reaching for the sky, always apiring, dreaming, and seeking.

B. Wisdom of the Day
  • “War is a punisher that ultimately strikes both sides with the same rod.” Thomas Jefferson
