I’m always reluctant to share these so-called “manifestos”. Very rarely can any good come out of it, But I do believe they should all be treated similarly in terms of disclosure. It’s not because of how it may be misused or propagandized that we should fall into the trap of censorship.
What I find astonishing about this “manifesto” is the level of arrogance in it. The level of narcissistic delusion - “self sacrifice” for some “greater good” that these unhinged lunatics have convinced themselves of.
Everyone is the hero in their own story, even when they are engaging in attempted murder.
Cole thought security was weak. Ultimately, security at this event did its job. But only for the threat it faced.
That threat being a delusional, radicalized idiot with no meaningful training who thought he was going to LARP his way into a political assassination by kamikaze running into martyrdom.
A stupid plan carried out by someone who thought he is smarter than he is. And security did his job.
For the threat it faced.
The reality is that holding this event, with the president and the vice president together in one room, at a hotel, where there was apparently no meaningful security done in the periphery - had the weapon of attack been different, like a bomb in the garage, or something along those lines, followed by trained armed attackers, it’s not clear what might have been.
A chain is only as strong as the weakest link.
An organization is only as strong as its weakest individual.
We are now seeing poor decision after poor decision by the apparent weakest links at the highest levels of government, for the most important political players of our time.
They say never attribute to malice what can be explained through incompetence.
Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence, three times is enemy action.
We are well beyond incompetence.
