Ilhan Omar

I'm sure you've all seen the video of the man spraying Ilhan Omar with an unknown (but "foul smelling" ) substance yesterday.

First, not funny. Assault. It could very well have been acid and that stuff is scary.

Once confirmed not acid, still not funny. And gross. "Foul smelling" yellow liquid could be week-old nasty urine.

I would immediately burn my cloths, and disinfect in a tub of Scottish gin. Inside and out.

What I find amazing is watching some accounts / people on the right behave exactly like Blue Anon nut-bags on the left. Immediately and without any hesitation calling it "fake". A "set-up".

In order for it to be fake, or a set-up, everyone would have to be in on it. Including the assailant.

If the guy disappears and never gets caught / doesn't get identified, I would easily conclude Smollett set-up as well.

But the guy was arrested on the spot and identified.

Apparently he has a social media footprint that is pro-Trump.

Now, it could be a set-up in a "LIHOP" - Ilhan / Minnesota Dems had operatives who entrapped / instigated the guy to do what he did, and let it happen. Ok. Maybe. But that would be one heck of a LIHOP / operation for some pee-pee on Ilhan.

If the guy gets no punishment (or no meaningful punishment), then we could possibly conclude "set-up" in that Ilhan got the optics she wanted, the guy (who apparently has been heavily medicated due to a back injury from a car accident), get paid or whatever, never punished, and fades into oblivion.

What I find amazing is watching a world descend into "nothing is real", "everything is an OP".

"Trump was never shot. It was fake blood".

But Corey was murdered, two others shot.

"Yeah, they were sacrificed, but the blood on Trump's war was fake".

It's a form of social / political psychosis. Delusions. Set aside dialogue - it's full detachment from reality. It's people walking among us in alternative universes.

The reality is that the guys probably was a disgruntled Trump supporter. Injured. Angry. Watching Somalis steal money while he suffers and probably can't pay his own medical bills.

The suspect's name is James Kazmierczak. Seems to be Polish descent. I thought it would be greatly ironic if he was of Ukrainian descent, angry that monies were being fraudulently stolen by Minnesota Somalis instead of going to the Ukraine effort.

Unlikely. Most likely he is just a disgruntles while American male, pissed off that he is being sidelined and robbed by Somali and government corruption.

The only difference being that Lefties get angry, they shoot you.

Conservatives get angry, and they spray you with nasty liquid.

Still not cool and needs to be prosecuted. If you have ever seen the consequences of an acid attack, it is not something that can be taken lightly. Nor is it something that can be laughed off.

Nor is it something that can be written off as "staged" in the absence of any meaningful evidence to support the claim.

Peace!

His moment of greatness

And it was quite literally his only moment of greatness in the three games! 😂

What’s incredible is how expensive everything has gotten, even the most traditional family outings.

Admittedly, we were five kids and two adults, but it was over $35 per person to play three games of bowling.

Then you have to rent the shoes.

And the food, if you order it, is overpriced junk.

But, we had a moment!

Thomas Massie vs. Ed Gallrein

No judgment, I just want to see the discrepancy between our Locals community and X.

Who do you all want to win tomorrow’s Kentucky primary?

Still a little black-pilled

The results from yesterday‘s midterm remind me of scenes from two movies:

Killing Zoe: when the bank robbers finally reach all of the gold, after the bank robbery has gone totally awry, the French bank robber lead actor/villain says “we are rich” as he strokes the gold.

Eric Stoltz - the good guy sucked into the bank robbery gone south - says “whoa, we’re not out of here yet”.

To which the villain says in his French accent “yes, but we are rich”.

The other line was from Rushmore: “they can buy anything, but they can’t buy backbone”.

I briefly chatted with two guys at the bowling alley yesterday. Mid 50s/early 60s. Said I Was very much distracted by the Kentucky primaries (before results started coming in). they weren’t even aware that Kentucky primaries were going on, and when I told them who was running, they said “oh that guy… isn’t he the anti-Trump guy?”

And you realize the power of propaganda. Two people who barely even knew the core detail that the primary was even happening, knew the ...

Art of the Day
  • With its signature clock, red brick walls, and wooden floor interiors, I remember well the chapel I first set to publicly speak as a 10-year old — Phillips Chapel, Highland Park, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Damaged a few years back by a fire, evangelicals founded the church in 1922 as part of the Indpendent Baptist movement I grew up in. MLK met with Reverend Lee Roberson here during the Civil Rights movement. My first moment on stage ended quickly, as I forgot my speech, panicked at the size of the crowd, and my little ten year old feet scampered across the wooden floors in fear of total embarrassment. Fond memories!

Art of the Day

  • This abstraction captures something more of the symphonic spirit in the seamless synethsis of function and feel, utility and aesthetic, that is my favorite place in my hometown — the Walnut Street Bridge, whose blue beams and wooden planks cross the Tennessee River, and whose path I took each day to work as a young lawyer for a public interest law clinic defending the victims of abuse be they parents or banks. The feeling of precision integrated into nature, crossing it, overcoming it, and experiencing it at the same time, this local artist best captures the sense of the Birdge as I fondly remember it, expressed in its geometric shape, friendly colors, and textured echo of memory past.
