First impressions: I haven’t been overseas in over a decade.
Europe has a very distinct smell. I remember it from France. Like burnt rubber everywhere.
The lineup to get in for people coming from certain countries was probably half a mile along. There was an expedited entry for American and Canadian visas.
I don’t trust the police here at all. Everything about the experience so far reminds me of Eurotrip.
The infrastructure is not just antiquated. Dilapidated. The protective barrier around the airport looks like Alligator Alcatraz. I seriously thought there was something of an encampment outside the building, until I realized it was just the protective barrier for the airport itself.
I watched Moneyball on the airplane. Had never seen it before. One of the best movies I’ve seen in years.
Managed to sleep a couple of hours. Drank plenty of water.
We are waiting to take the train to Switzerland. Met up with the Rumble gang. Everyone’s looking good, and it’s good to be with friends.

I watched the pipe bomber arrest press conference. I found it very unsatisfying. They basically said they’re not going to reveal any of the evidence for the time being, and except in accordance with the legal process.
Judge Pirro is the only one who gave the slightest indication of what the conclusive evidence was. Apparently they traced the sale/purchase of the pipe bomb cap and/or other materials to this individual.
Other than this clip, no evidence was provided during the press conference.
I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

So LAST WEEK, they canceled school a day early, said we were gonna get BLASTED by a foot PLUS in snow!!! We got 2 inches and not much more. LAST NIGHT they BARELY even MENTIONED "flurries!!!" Penned on a single sheet of animal skin by Jacob Shallus, it stands out as the Great Charter of American liberty, the profound experiment in self-government, and still stands today as the oldest and shortest written constitution of any major government in the world today. Those words stand out above the rest, written in flowing letters outsized to the text, to remind the world upon what power our government sits: We the People.

One place where AI proves fun is its image generation capacity, whether for memes, dystopian dreams, otherworldly experiences, or translating photos and ideas into the templated work of famous painters. I asked it to convert this meme into a Hopper painting, and it turns out quite fun, as it blurs and blends the images into the spirit of the people and place, as Hopper so masterfully made so often. A Hush Hush of its own accord.
