500 Years Later, Musk's DOGE reveals Royalist's Rip Offs!
BUT WE'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE...
KNOW HISTORY TO WIN!

“Let everyone who can smite, slay, and stab, secretly and openly, remembering that nothing can be more poisonous, hurtful, or devilish than a rebel.” ~ Martin Luther

"Open your eyes! What is the evil brew from which all usury, theft, and robbery springs but the assumption of our lords and princes that all creatures are their property? The fish in the water, the birds in the air, the plants on the face of the earth – it all has to belong to them!...And Doctor Liar responds, Amen. It is the lords themselves who make the poor man their enemy. If they refuse to do away with the causes of insurrection, how can trouble be avoided in the long run? If saying that makes me an inciter to insurrection, so be it!" ~ Thomas Müntzer

Five centuries ago, Germany experienced a massive popular revolt that spread through the countryside and towns. The German lords drowned the revolt in blood, but the popular demands for freedom and equality have resonated right up to the present day ~ Martin Empson

Nonetheless, the events of the Peasants’ War marked significant steps toward the Enlightenment principles of human liberty. It was a precursor not to the Bolshevik Revolution, as is often claimed, but the American Revolution. The Twelve Articles declared: “Every peasant should be recognized as an autonomous being equal to any lord in the eyes of God.” In the Declaration of Independence, that became “All men are created equal.” Luther declared that “heresy cannot be opposed with violence,” even if he contradicted himself later. These steps didn’t lead directly to full religious freedom, but they helped to light the way ~ Gary McGath

The Twelve Articles are regarded as the first document concerning human rights in Europe in the Early Modern Era, but they were rejected by the nobility, and that decision was supported by Martin Luther ~ Joshua J. Mark

Interesting news on James Comey

Heading to New Orleans today for the conference. I might get a game of bowling in with George Gammon… Lol just kidding.

Here’s an interesting article about additional evidence of James Comey leaking like a sieve.

The Barnes Brief: Halloween, 2025

I.   INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day

  • As harvest ends, we commence the remembrance of death itself, recognizing its role in the cycle of life, as All Hallows Eve awaits the All Souls Day to follow. Our Celtic ancestors, and many contemporary Mexican celebrants with their Day of the Dead, see the sun set into winter’s moon, and the souls of those alive and past dance in the foggy merriment, with the light & the darkness competing for the souls of us all.

B. Wisdom of the Day

  • “I have to study politics and war so that my sons can study mathematics, commerce, and agriculture, so their sons can study poetry, painting and music.” John Quincy Adams.

I.   INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day

A rainy day in a French café, enjoying an orange presse and a well-made latte, with a good book to digest, amidst the quiet conversations in neghboring tables, a place to disappear lost in thought amidst the soft tap-tap-tap of the water on the windowsill.

B. Wisdom of the Day

“There’s always one more thing you can do to influence any situation in your favor—and after that one more thing, and after that…. The more you do the more opportunities arise.” Lieutenant General Harold Moore, born in the heart of Bourbon country and served in Vietnam.

C. Cultural Recommendation
