My thoughts on the Biden authorization to use ATACMS

Who does it benefit to authorize Ukraine to launch ATACMS into Russia with 60 days until Trump takes office?

Government contractors and the MIC (military industrial complex).

Who does it put at risk?

The entire world, but more proximately, all of Europe.

The idea that this authorization will do anything to increase Ukraine’s chances of “winning” the war is as inane as trying to sucker punch a grizzly bear (I chose this metaphor thoughtfully).

Unless the next step is to attach something more substantial to these missiles. Which would not surprise me given the brazenness and bloodlust of the war whores in charge.

The authorization is not strategic. It is symbolic. It is deliberate antagonism.

Yesterday, my thought was that all we could do is hope to rely on the better judgment of Zelensky not to follow through.

That was wrong. He too is that brazen, corrupt, and above all else, desperate.

Now, all we can do is hope that Putin has the patience and restraint to wait 60 days until the adults get back in charge.

Understand that we are governed by corrupt monsters who will stop at nothing.

These are evil people. In the truest biblical sense.

Incidentally, Mike Benz had a theory about the authorization. I saw a clip floating around on Twitter that I can’t seem to relocate. If anybody can find that, I would greatly appreciate it!

I. THE INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day
  • Washington Crossing the Delaware, one of the great portraits of the American revolution, captured the American spirit to this day, more than two centuries after the event and more than a century since Emanuel Leutze’s painting exhibited in 1851. The torrid current, the gusting winds, the eager soldiers furiously rowing against the rising waves, the flag itself against the elements, Washington staring ahead, no turning back. Onward only!

I. THE INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day
  • The glamorous look. The old school elegance. The mirrored reflection. The corner high top.  The distant foggy light. The champagne dancing in the crystal glass. The cheery smile. The opposite faces. The whisper of conspiracy. The hint of the past. The black and white of a different kind of truth. Midnight somewhere. Plans afoot. Opportunities linger. Take a chance.

  • Alexander Mercouris. The Oracle of London. Co-founder of the geopolitics commentary channel The Duran. His family history compares to the George Washington’s of Greece, given the family’s instrumental role in the Greek War of Independence, including the chieftran of the Greek revolution, through to the early 20th century Mayor of Athens and prominent actress aunt who became minister of culture, leaving Greece only after the military coup of 1967. Mercouris’ geopolitical understanding led to the label: the oracle of London.

I. THE INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day
  • They raise the flag of liberty, replacing the image of the King, but the painting speaks more than just that celebration of the Revolution. A mother holds up\ her child. Women dance. Young and old alike volunteer. but look a bit closer, and you see the true source of the revolution: as the aristocrats walk away, the commoiners lift the flag of liberty. The founding Fathers weren’t just a few folks writing documents; it was the ordinary people taking dramatic action, peopling the volunteer army, sacricing for boycotts, smuggling information and goods across enemy lines, voicing their independence in taverns and community halls, taking their freedom into their hands for themselves and their posterity, the true founders of America.

B. Wisdom of the Day
  • "If all else fails, I will retreat up the Valley of Virginia, plant my flag on the Blue Ridge, rally around the Scotch-Irish of that region, and make my last stand for liberty amongst a people who will never submit to tyranny whilst there is a man left to draw a trigger." George Washington.
