No, not that kind.
Not being hyperbolic, and I have a high threshold for pain, but I think I tore my MLS (?).
Basically, at the beach with the surfboard and I holding it sideways (like an idiot), flat against my thigh, perpendicular to the waves. A wave crashes - cuz it's the beach - against the board, driving the full force of the ocean into the outside of my right knee, pushing it inward. Kind of like these images.
I felt something pop immediately and it's the kind of debilitating pain that causes system shutdown.
From what I'm reading, they don't really require / recommend surgery even for full MLS tear if that's what it is. I'm hoping it my just be a hyperextension.
I absolutely don't want to go to an ER.
Just icing it and waiting to see. Good excuse to go live or do a V Pain Car Vlawg.
Anyone got any experience with this?
