Michelle Obama's carefully worded response to SCOTUS Harvard decision

The wording of Michelle's release is interesting...

"But still, I sometimes wondered if people thought I got there because of affirmative action".

Michelle is suggesting she knows she didn't get there by affirmative action - whereas others did - but that she feared people would think she got there for reasons apart from merit... A very subtle flex.

The Harvard anti-asian "affirmative action" was nothing short of overt discrimination. Fighting perceived nepotism (as righteous as that fight may be) with actual race-based discrimination does not remedy racial inequality - it just substitutes one injustice with another.

Michelle is effectively admitting as much, while making sure to defend herself from the impression of having potentially been the beneficiary of that very system she is implicitly recognizing is unjust, and does in fact cast a shadow of doubt of the actual merits of everyone - even those who did in fact succeed on their own merits.

Decision-making reflexes of a cat!

We spotted a turtle crossing the street. It would’ve been vulture meat (or caused an accident).

The light turned red just in time.

It was the turtle’s lucky day!

A beautiful and relevant message in these uncertain days. God is STILL on the throne. He's interested in one thing, defeating evil. Evil has been ruling this nation and the nations of the world for far too long, deep within the secrect bowels of governments and the powerful.
