Ugly diving championship

There’s a Tennessee river sporting event all weekend in Chattanooga.

Yesterday, we caught the “ugly diving” competition.

I actually missed the best of the ugly dives. Here is one by wave example.

Heading to the aquarium. Ethan playing around on the rock climbing wall. Watching some wakeboarding.

This place is beautiful.

Appearance on Richard Syrette

I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

Sorry but this was not an "unfortunate accident"...this was an unqualified driver who, regardless of the fact that he apparantly can not read English, should have known better than to try to make a U-Turn on a four lane highway...Any company hiring such people should be sued out of existence....I am a road warrior...12 hours north....12 hours back south...I can tell you about what is on the roads, including the power cars apparantly being paid for by someone other than the driver...This last trip, I actually watched a car with Massachusetts plates obey a YIELD sign...I almost passed out from shock...

Get these drivers off the road...and treat this guy like anyone else who kills three people....

I await the word on what happens to the woman in a two car race on 95 around Balitmore, going 120 mph, whose car flipped over into a protected work area killing 6 innnocent workers protected by concrete Jersey barriers...throw the key away....

...

Burning the American flag

I’m curious to know how the community liens on this…

Do you think burning the American flag should be a criminal/statutory offense?

I. INTRODUCTION

A. Appearances

B. Art of the Day: Cigars, cognac, top hats, in the shadows, feeling like a secret meeting discussing who will take control of the docks, who gets the unions, and who gets the politicians. An era of real power by real men, good or otherwise.

C. Wisdom of the Day: “Ask for no guarantees, ask for no security, there never was such an animal.” Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451.

D. Cultural Recommendation: Two of the best sports preview writers are Phil Steele & Warren Sharp for those who enjoy learning about America’s favorite sport, American football. https://philsteele.com/product/2025-phil-steele-college-football-preview-magazine/ & https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/
