Invasion from the North

Tayler Hansen is a U.S. field reporter and documentary filmmaker (with Frontlines TPUSA) who has investigated and publicly exposed decentralized Indian human-smuggling networks that exploit Canadian student-visa loopholes, overstays, and social-media ads to move people across the poorly secured U.S.–Canada northern border into the United States.

I did a quick hit on Richard Syrette yesterday. Gotta keep Canadians apprised of the U.S. madness.

Total political implosion

Dan Crenshaw actually posted this on X.

He is not the only one.

I would say he’s trying to sabotage Trump, but this is in large part Trump’s own doing.

From no new wars, bringing down the cost of living, to short-term pain for long-term gain, to shut your filthy mouths and pay more for basic necessities because we are laundering hundreds of billions of your tax dollars through Ukraine.

But at least Crenshaw got an excellent rating from Republicans for Ukraine.

mRNA for the flu vaccine

Looks like they’re going to be using mRNA for flu vaccines.

I think I’ve only taken a flu shot once, and I don’t even remember having done it.

But I think it’s safe to say I will never be doing it again.

I also love how the article says that the flu kills 300,000 to 400,000 people annually.

Except during Covid. Then it magically disappeared for two years.

Heading to Texas!

Show today will be a little later than normal.

Getting ready to participate in the series of debates.

Booya!

I. THE INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day
  • My idea for a perfect Saturday brunch, sitting by an open window in Venice along the canals, fresh flowers gracing the table and balcony, the blue skies and 18th century buildings smiling back, gondoliers parked, an Italian meal awaiting, in this Atlantis of cultured living.

B. Wisdom of the Day
  • Hubris infects the strong, not the weak; the clever, not the  knave; the smart, not the illiterate; the previously successful, not the prior failed. It’s what makes it so inviting, so tempting, and so destructive — precisely because it infects the very people who need to be most immune from it.

I. THE INTRODUCTION

A. Art of the Day
  • The well worn wooden desk, the papers stacked, the lamp lit office, the window’s view to the outer worls, the chalkboard for inspiration, the books stacked, the deep leather chair, and a bottle of bourbon for the work’s end. A perfect office.

B. Wisdom of the Day
  • “Hubris is the arrogance that just scrapes the stars as it falls fast and furious to the demise of its exhibitor.”
